Thank you, Michael, for another interesting and provocative article. I wonder if you're in the same position as me. I'm leaving Twitter (X) and thinking about leaving FB, Instagram, and Threads. I want to focus on Substack and Patreon as my primary social media platforms. I worry about losing touch with those who follow me on these bilious platforms but have yet to follow me here or on Patreon. Of course, it's possible to follow me for free on Substack and Patreon but I worry some may misunderstand that you must donate first. Anyway, thank you for your excellent Substack contributions!
I no longer post to Twitter but I keep an eye on Musk’s posts. No longer on Threads or Instagram but will keep my Facebook page ‘The Vegan Project’ since it consistently receives several million views a month. But having said that there is the old adaged ‘keep your friends close and your enemies closer’ lol Was that a quote from ‘The Godfather’?
