This is not the America we claim to be. By passing the Trump-backed budget bill, Republicans have revealed not a commitment to liberty or justice, but allegiance to cruelty, corruption, and authoritarianism. This bill is not simply a fiscal plan. It is a blueprint for a shadow nation, one where the poor are discarded, dissent is punished, and truth is buried under spectacle.
Slashing aid for the vulnerable while inflating police budgets and military contracts is not governance. It is retribution. It is punishment dressed as patriotism. Education, housing, food assistance, environmental protections, each line gutted in the name of “fiscal responsibility,” while billions flow to the already powerful. This is not fiscal conservatism. It is moral collapse.
If you voted for this, or stood by and defended it, the shame is yours to carry. You are not preserving America. You are unraveling it. You are choosing obedience over liberty, loyalty to party over duty to people.
